Insurance Coverage

Transparent protection for every child at every camp

What's Included by Default

On-Site Liability Coverage

Every Nawrass booking includes basic liability insurance that covers incidents occurring on camp premises during supervised activities. This policy protects against claims arising from injuries caused by camp infrastructure, equipment, or staff negligence during operating hours.

On-Site Medical Care

Basic medical treatment provided by our on-site nurse or paramedic is included at no additional cost. This covers routine first aid, minor injury treatment, and the administration of pre-authorised medications as documented during the registration process.

Emergency Transport

In the event that a child requires hospital-level care, Nawrass covers the cost of emergency transport from the camp site to the nearest medical facility. This includes ambulance services and, where necessary, coordination with local emergency response teams.

Optional Coverage

Liability + Accident Insurance

450 MAD per child per week

Our optional comprehensive plan extends coverage well beyond the default package. It is designed for parents who want complete peace of mind during their child's stay.

What's Covered:

  • Accidental injury during all camp activities, including adventure sports
  • Emergency hospitalisation costs up to 50,000 MAD per incident
  • Third-party liability for damage caused by the insured child
  • Dental emergency treatment resulting from accidental injury
  • Personal belongings coverage up to 2,000 MAD per child
  • Search and rescue costs for off-site excursions

What's NOT Covered

The following situations fall outside both the default and optional insurance plans. We recommend parents review these exclusions carefully and arrange supplementary coverage where appropriate.

  • Pre-existing medical conditions or chronic illnesses requiring ongoing treatment
  • Injuries resulting from deliberate rule violations or unauthorized activities
  • International travel and repatriation costs to the child's home country
  • Loss or theft of high-value electronics (laptops, tablets, smartphones)
  • Trip cancellation, delay, or interruption due to personal or family reasons
  • Natural disasters, pandemics, or government-imposed travel restrictions

How to File a Claim

1

Report the Incident

Notify the camp director immediately. An incident report will be completed on site with details of the event, witnesses, and any medical treatment provided.

2

Collect Documentation

Gather all relevant documents including medical reports, receipts for treatment, the camp incident report, and photographs if applicable. Nawrass staff will assist in compiling these materials.

3

Submit Your Claim

Send your completed claim form and supporting documents to our insurance team at commercial@nawrass-asso.com within 30 days of the incident. Claims received after this window may not be eligible for processing.

4

Receive Resolution

Our insurance partner reviews all claims within 15 business days. You will receive a written decision and, if approved, reimbursement is processed directly to the bank account provided on your claim form.

Our Recommendation

Arrange Travel Insurance from Your Home Country

While Nawrass provides robust on-site coverage and offers an optional accident plan, we strongly recommend that parents also arrange comprehensive travel insurance from their home country before departure. European travel insurance policies typically cover repatriation, trip cancellation, and pre-existing conditions — areas that are outside the scope of our local plans.

Many European employers include family travel insurance as part of their benefits package. We suggest checking with your HR department to confirm whether your company policy extends to your child's stay at a Nawrass camp. If not, affordable annual travel insurance for families is available from most European providers and can be arranged in minutes online.
