Spring Summer Autumn

The Nawrass Multi-Sports Camp is our flagship athletic programme, designed for young people aged 9 to 17 who want to combine the thrill of competition with the joy of outdoor adventure. Whether your child is an aspiring footballer, a budding swimmer, or simply loves to stay active, this camp delivers a structured yet fun-filled week of diverse sporting disciplines supervised by qualified coaches and certified sports educators.

Offered at both our mountain site in Ifrane and our coastal base in Briech near Asilah, the Multi-Sports Camp gives families the flexibility to choose the environment that best suits their child. In Ifrane, campers benefit from the cool high-altitude climate and expansive mountain pitches. In Briech, the Atlantic coastline becomes a natural arena for beach sports, surfing, and open-water swimming. Both locations share the same pedagogical framework, safety standards, and commitment to inclusion.

Beyond the physical benefits, the Multi-Sports Camp places a strong emphasis on teamwork, fair play, and personal growth. Campers learn to set goals, support their teammates, and manage both victory and defeat with grace. By the end of the week, participants leave with improved fitness, new skills, and friendships forged through shared effort and achievement.

Ifrane is often called the "Little Switzerland of Morocco," a pristine mountain town nestled at 1,650 metres in the Middle Atlas range. Surrounded by vast cedar forests and crisp mountain air, it offers an ideal setting for athletic training. The altitude provides a natural advantage for building stamina, as the thinner air challenges the cardiovascular system and accelerates fitness gains.

Our sports facilities in Ifrane include multi-purpose grass and synthetic pitches, a regulation basketball court, volleyball nets, and a 400-metre athletics track. Natural swimming pools fed by mountain springs provide a refreshing environment for aquatic sessions. The town itself is safe, clean, and well-serviced, with a hospital only ten minutes from camp.

The surrounding landscape also lends itself to cross-country running, orienteering, and team relay races through forested trails. The cool climate, even in summer, means campers can train comfortably throughout the day without the heat exhaustion common in lower-altitude locations.

Campers in Ifrane stay in mountain lodges that blend traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comfort. Rooms are shared between four to six participants of similar ages and are furnished with sturdy bunk beds, individual storage shelves, and reading lights. Each lodge has heated common areas, essential during cooler mountain evenings.

Bathroom and shower facilities are located within each lodge building, with separate blocks for boys and girls. Hot water is available throughout the day. Common rooms in each lodge serve as social spaces where campers can relax, play board games, or gather for evening briefings.

The lodge grounds include open lawns for informal play, shaded terraces, and a central dining pavilion where all meals are served family-style. Night supervision is provided by resident animators who sleep in adjacent rooms, ensuring round-the-clock safety and support.

Each day at the Ifrane Multi-Sports Camp follows a structured timetable designed to balance intensive training with rest and recreation. The morning begins at 07:30 with a group warm-up and stretching session, followed by breakfast at 08:00. The first training block runs from 09:00 to 12:00 and focuses on a primary sport such as football or basketball, with technical drills, small-sided games, and tactical exercises led by specialist coaches.

After lunch and a rest period, the afternoon session from 14:30 to 17:00 shifts to a secondary sport -- volleyball, athletics, or swimming -- giving campers a well-rounded exposure to multiple disciplines. Relay races and team challenges are woven into the schedule to build camaraderie and competitive spirit.

Evenings feature lighter activities: team quizzes, talent shows, campfire storytelling, or film screenings. One evening during the week is dedicated to an inter-team tournament where campers compete for the Nawrass Sports Trophy, a highlight that builds anticipation throughout the programme.

The final day includes a sports festival where campers showcase their progress to fellow participants and visiting families. Certificates of participation and special awards for sportsmanship, most improved, and team spirit are presented in a closing ceremony.

All meals at the Ifrane camp are prepared on-site by our professional kitchen team using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The menu is fully halal and designed to fuel active bodies: high-protein breakfasts with eggs, bread, fruit, and dairy; hearty lunches featuring Moroccan tagines, grilled meats, salads, and couscous; afternoon snacks of seasonal fruit, nuts, and pastries; and balanced dinners with soups, grilled fish or chicken, vegetables, and desserts.

We accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-specific dietary requirements with advance notice. Hydration stations with filtered water are available across all camp areas, and sports drinks are provided during intensive training sessions. Our nutritional approach ensures campers maintain energy levels throughout the day while discovering the rich culinary traditions of Morocco.

Our Ifrane sports team comprises qualified coaches holding national federation certifications in their respective disciplines, supported by general animators with BAFA or equivalent youth-work qualifications. The camp maintains a strict maximum ratio of one animator for every eight children, ensuring personalised attention, safety, and effective skill development. A dedicated camp director oversees all operations and serves as the primary contact for parents.

Medical support is provided by an on-site first-aider available 24 hours a day, with direct access to the Ifrane provincial hospital for any emergencies. All staff undergo background checks, safeguarding training, and first-aid certification before deployment. Night supervisors are stationed in each lodge block, and a detailed emergency protocol covers everything from minor injuries to severe weather contingencies.

Ifrane is most easily reached via Fez-Saiss International Airport, located approximately 70 kilometres (one hour by road) from the camp. Nawrass provides optional group transfers from Fez airport on designated arrival and departure days, included in the camp package for groups of ten or more children. Individual transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.

From Rabat-Sale Airport, the drive to Ifrane takes approximately three and a half hours via the A2 motorway. From Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca, the journey is roughly four and a half hours. For families travelling from Spain or other European cities, direct flights to Fez operate from Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Brussels, and Amsterdam throughout the spring and summer season.

Detailed travel instructions, meeting-point maps, and emergency contact numbers are sent to all registered families two weeks before the camp start date. Our logistics coordinator is available by phone and email to assist with travel planning.

Nawrass offers a comprehensive insurance package for 450 MAD per child, covering the entire duration of the camp stay. The policy includes civil liability, personal accident coverage (medical expenses up to 150,000 MAD), repatriation assistance, and luggage protection. This insurance is underwritten by a European-licensed insurer and complies with French and Moroccan regulatory requirements for organised youth travel.

Parents who prefer to use their own travel or health insurance may opt out of the Nawrass package, provided they supply proof of equivalent coverage at least ten days before the camp start date. In all cases, campers must present a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) or equivalent documentation upon arrival. Our administrative team is available to help families navigate the insurance requirements.

My son came back from Ifrane a different child -- more confident, more disciplined, and buzzing with stories about his teammates. The coaches were exceptional and the organisation was flawless. We will be sending both our children next summer.

Briech is a coastal village situated between Tangier and Asilah on Morocco's Atlantic seaboard. The camp sits directly on a wide, sandy beach with consistent Atlantic waves ideal for surfing and bodyboarding. The coastline stretches for kilometres in both directions, providing ample space for beach sports, athletics, and open-air fitness sessions away from crowds.

The nearby town of Asilah, a UNESCO-recognised artistic hub, offers a charming medina with whitewashed walls and vibrant murals. Campers have the opportunity to visit the medina during cultural excursion afternoons, experiencing Morocco's rich heritage alongside their sporting programme.

The Atlantic climate keeps temperatures moderate throughout summer, with sea breezes ensuring comfortable conditions for outdoor training. Water temperatures are refreshing and safe for supervised swimming from June through September.

At Briech, campers sleep in sturdy canvas tents set on raised wooden platforms, each accommodating four to six participants. The tents are equipped with camp beds, sleeping mats, and individual storage crates. A separate bungalow block houses shower and toilet facilities, with dedicated sections for boys and girls and hot water available from solar-heated tanks.

The camp layout is designed for both security and community. Tents are arranged in clusters around a central gathering area used for briefings, evening programmes, and social time. Perimeter lighting and 24-hour security staff ensure the site remains safe after dark.

For those who prefer more solid accommodation, a limited number of beachside bungalows with built-in beds and fans are available at a small supplement. These are typically reserved for younger campers or those with specific comfort needs identified by parents during registration.

The Briech Multi-Sports programme harnesses the unique opportunities of a coastal setting. Mornings begin with a sunrise beach jog and dynamic warm-up at 07:30, followed by breakfast. The first session from 09:00 to 12:00 focuses on water-based activities: surfing lessons for beginners and intermediates, stand-up paddleboarding technique, or swimming drills in a supervised ocean zone marked with buoys and patrolled by certified lifeguards.

After lunch and siesta, the afternoon block from 15:00 to 17:30 shifts to land-based sports: beach football and beach volleyball tournaments, sprint relays on the sand, and agility courses. The resistance of sand provides an excellent natural training tool, building leg strength and balance more effectively than hard-surface play.

Evenings are dedicated to lighter social activities: beach barbecues, music around the campfire, storytelling sessions, and inter-tent competitions. Mid-week, a cultural excursion to the Asilah medina breaks the rhythm and gives campers a taste of Moroccan history and art.

The final day features a beach sports olympiad combining all disciplines into a festival atmosphere. Families and company representatives are welcome to attend the closing ceremony and awards presentation.

The Briech kitchen takes full advantage of the coastal location, incorporating fresh Atlantic seafood alongside traditional Moroccan cuisine. Breakfasts feature fresh bread, msemen pancakes, local honey, eggs, fruit, and juices. Lunches include grilled fish, couscous, Moroccan salads, and seasonal vegetables. Dinners offer tagines, charcoal-grilled chicken, pasta dishes, and homemade desserts. A mid-afternoon snack of fruit, yoghurt, and pastries keeps energy levels high after training.

The entire menu is halal-certified. Vegetarian, vegan, and allergen-free options are available upon request during registration. Hydration is a priority: filtered water dispensers are positioned at every activity station, and electrolyte drinks are provided during water-sports sessions. Our kitchen team holds food-safety certifications and follows strict hygiene protocols inspected before each camp session.

The Briech coaching team includes surf instructors certified by the Moroccan Royal Federation of Surfing, football coaches with UEFA grassroots licences, and general sports animators with BAFA qualifications. A dedicated water-safety officer is present during every ocean session, equipped with rescue boards, flotation devices, and radio communication. The overall animator-to-child ratio never exceeds 1:8, and for water activities specifically, the ratio is tightened to 1:6.

A camp nurse with emergency medical training is on-site from morning until lights-out, and a direct line to the Asilah regional hospital ensures rapid response for any serious incident. All staff members are trained in child safeguarding, conflict mediation, and inclusive practice. The camp director conducts daily briefings with the full team to review safety conditions, weather forecasts, and individual camper well-being.

The Briech camp is best accessed via Tangier Ibn Battouta International Airport, located approximately 50 kilometres (45 minutes by road) from the site. Group transfers from Tangier airport are provided on designated arrival days and are included in the camp fee for groups of ten or more. For smaller groups or individual travellers, private transfers can be arranged through our logistics partner.

From Rabat, the drive to Briech takes approximately three hours via the A1 motorway. From Casablanca, the journey is about four hours. Direct flights to Tangier operate year-round from major European cities including Paris, Madrid, Brussels, London, and Amsterdam, making the camp highly accessible for families across Europe.

The camp provides families with a comprehensive travel pack including GPS coordinates, landmark directions, emergency phone numbers, and a WhatsApp support group activated one week before camp begins.

The same comprehensive Nawrass insurance package (450 MAD) applies to the Briech location, covering civil liability, personal accident, repatriation, and luggage. Given the water-sports component, the policy explicitly covers injuries sustained during supervised surfing, paddleboarding, and open-water swimming sessions, provided all safety protocols are followed.

Parents may use their own insurance if it provides equivalent coverage, confirmed in writing at least ten days before the camp start. A valid European Health Insurance Card or private travel insurance certificate must be presented at check-in. Our team provides guidance on insurance requirements during the registration process.
