Nawrass reserves the right to cancel a Programme if minimum enrolment thresholds are not met, or for reasons of safety. In such cases, the Client will receive a full refund of all fees paid, or the option to transfer the Booking to an alternative Programme of equivalent value.
4. Client Obligations
- Accurate Information: The Client warrants that all information provided during the registration process is accurate, complete, and up to date. This includes the Participant's personal details, emergency contacts, and any special requirements.
- Medical Disclosure: The Client and/or Parent/Guardian must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, dietary restrictions, behavioural considerations, or ongoing treatments that may affect the Participant's ability to safely participate in Programme activities. Failure to disclose material health information may result in the Participant being excluded from certain activities or, in serious cases, removed from the Programme without refund.
- Parental Authorisation: A valid, signed parental authorisation form must be submitted before the Programme start date. This form authorises Nawrass staff to administer first aid and seek emergency medical treatment if the Parent/Guardian cannot be reached in a timely manner.
- Travel Documents: The Client is responsible for ensuring that each Participant possesses all necessary travel documents (passport, visa, etc.) required for entry into and stay in the Kingdom of Morocco.
- Insurance: The Client must ensure that each Participant is covered by valid travel and civil liability insurance for the duration of the Programme.
5. Nawrass Obligations
- Duty of Care: Nawrass undertakes to provide a safe, supervised, and enriching environment for all Participants throughout the duration of the Programme. All activities are risk-assessed and conducted under appropriate safety protocols.
- Qualified Staff: All camp animators, coordinators, and supervisory personnel are selected through a rigorous recruitment process and hold relevant qualifications in youth education, first aid, and/or the specific activity disciplines they lead. Staff-to-child ratios are maintained at a minimum of 1:8.
- Insurance: Nawrass maintains comprehensive civil liability insurance covering its operations, staff, and facilities for the duration of each Programme. Details of the insurance policy are available upon written request.
- Emergency Procedures: Nawrass has documented emergency and evacuation procedures in place at each camp site. Parents/Guardians will be contacted immediately in the event of any serious incident or medical emergency involving their child.
6. Liability Limitations
Nawrass shall not be held liable for:
- Loss or damage to personal belongings brought to the camp by Participants. Nawrass strongly recommends that valuables, electronic devices, and large sums of money not be brought to camp.
- Injuries arising from a Participant's deliberate failure to follow safety instructions or the Code of Conduct.
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions to travel arrangements made independently by the Client or Parent/Guardian.
- Consequences arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client or Parent/Guardian at the time of registration.
In all cases, the total liability of Nawrass shall not exceed the total Programme fees paid by the Client for the affected Participant.
7. Code of Conduct for Campers
All Participants are expected to adhere to the following standards of behaviour throughout their stay:
- Respect: Treat all fellow campers, staff, and local community members with dignity and respect. Discriminatory language or behaviour based on race, religion, gender, nationality, or disability is strictly prohibited.
- No Bullying: Physical, verbal, or psychological bullying in any form will not be tolerated. Nawrass operates a zero-tolerance policy. Incidents will be investigated promptly, and serious or repeated violations may result in the Participant's immediate removal from the Programme without refund.
- Digital Detox: Smartphones, tablets, laptops, and gaming consoles are not permitted at camp. This policy is designed to encourage face-to-face interaction, outdoor engagement, and mental well-being. Exceptions may be granted for medical devices requiring digital connectivity, with prior written approval from Nawrass.
- Safety Compliance: Participants must follow all safety instructions issued by camp staff, including those relating to swimming, excursions, and equipment use.
- Property: Participants must respect camp property, natural environments, and the belongings of others. Wilful damage will be reported to the Parent/Guardian and may result in a charge for repair or replacement.
- Prohibited Items: Alcohol, tobacco, drugs, weapons, fireworks, and any other illegal or dangerous substances or items are strictly prohibited. Possession of such items will result in immediate removal from the Programme and notification of the Parent/Guardian.
8. Photo & Video Consent
During the Programme, Nawrass staff and official photographers may capture photographs and videos of activities and events for the following purposes:
- Sharing with Parents/Guardians via the secure Nawrass parent portal
- Use on the Nawrass website, social media channels, and marketing materials
- Inclusion in reports provided to corporate Clients
By completing the registration process, the Client and Parent/Guardian grant Nawrass a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use such images and recordings. If the Parent/Guardian does not wish their child to be photographed or filmed, they must indicate this in writing on the registration form. Nawrass will make reasonable efforts to honour such requests, though it cannot guarantee the complete exclusion of a Participant from group photographs.
9. Force Majeure
Nawrass shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, acts of war or terrorism, government restrictions, strikes, severe weather conditions, or transportation disruptions.
In the event of Force Majeure, Nawrass will use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact on affected Programmes and will communicate with Clients as promptly as possible regarding alternative arrangements, postponements, or refunds.
10. Data Protection
Nawrass processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and its own Privacy Policy. By submitting a Booking, the Client acknowledges and consents to the collection, processing, and storage of personal data as described in the Nawrass Privacy Policy.
