The dossier that passes the commission

Everything your Head of School needs

Standard Establishment × Nawrass agreement

Educational agreement template with detailed budget, day-by-day programme, supervision, insurance, payment terms. Validated by a school-law specialist solicitor.

Document 2
Curriculum-aligned educational programme

8 or 12 pages depending on programme. Cites every reference to BO and official curricula. Skills covered in French + Arabic + EMC + geography + sciences.

Document 3
Information letter to parents

Print-ready template: dates, programme, budget, registration terms, payment schedule, insurance, emergency contacts. Customisable to your establishment's brand.

Document 4
Parental authorisations (3 templates)

Travel-authorisation form (AST), image rights authorisation, medical care authorisation. Compliant with mandatory DASEN mentions.

Document 6
Standard funding plan

Template plan with family contributions, FSE, municipal subsidies, ANCV, Pass Colos, FSL. Identification of cumulative grants. Customisable to your academy.

Complete documentation pack delivered within 7 days of your request. For trips planned during the school year, please contact us at least 3 months before departure to respect Rectorate timelines (standing committee).

How to fund the trip

Six levers to reduce the family contribution

For state schools, bringing the family cost down to €350-500 is generally feasible. Here are the cumulative sources we document in the pack.

Source 1

Socio-Educational Fund (FSE)

Direct funding from the establishment's FSE, typically €50-200/student depending on available funds. Request to be made in council session.

Source 2

Departmental / regional council subsidy

Depending on your department (75, 92, 93, 94 = high budgets): €100-400/student on application. Submission deadline 6 months before departure.

Source 3

City hall of the establishment

Exceptional municipal subsidy for school trips by the local school. Variable: €50-300/student, application in commission.

Source 4

Social grants (FSL, AFL)

For QF 1-3 families, the Lycée Social Fund (FSL) or Collège Social Fund can cover 50 % to 100 % of the remaining cost. Application supported by the CPE.

Source 5

Class fundraising actions

Cake sales, raffles, fairs: typically €30-100/student over 6 months of actions. Action calendar idea included in our pack.

Source 6

Local corporate sponsorship

Sponsorship agreement with a local company (article 238 bis CGI: 60 % tax deduction). Outreach letter template provided in the pack.

Standard example for a REP+ middle school in the Paris suburbs

Trip €950/student — FSE €100 — Departmental subsidy (Seine-Saint-Denis) €250 — FSL €200 for QF 1-2 — Class actions €80
→ Family contribution: €320-520

School Trips FAQ

Ideally 6 to 9 months before departure: it takes time to put together the Rectorate dossier (standing committee, IA-IPR validation), mobilise the FSE, submit subsidy applications to the department (deadline 4-6 months before), and collect parental authorisations. For an April/May trip, start in September. For an October/November trip (Toussaint), start in March. We can exceptionally accelerate to 3 months if you already have a provisioned FSE.

The EN rule: 1 chaperone per 10 students at middle school, 1 per 12 at lycée, including at least 1 tenured teacher. For 25 middle-school students, you need 3 chaperones (you + 2). Nawrass adds its BAFA-equivalent 1:8 team on site: you handle the educational dimension, we handle activities, safety and logistics.

For Middle School, General Lycée and Vocational programmes: 100 % of Nawrass animators are perfectly fluent in French (team trained in France or bilingual). For International Arabic Section programmes: Arabic teachers are native Moroccan graduates (Mohammed V University, Al Quaraouiyine), with French proficiency for logistical questions.

A qualified nurse is dedicated to your group throughout. Partner doctor 15 min away in case of emergency. Regional hospitals (Fes, Tangier, Casablanca) have technical platforms equivalent to French hospitals. For students with PAI: we request the prescription and certificates at D-21, the nurse receives the individual file, meals adapted in a separate kitchen for severe allergies.

Direct flight accompanied from Paris CDG/Orly or Marseille MRS to Casablanca CMN or Tangier TNG. A Nawrass coordinator meets you at the arrival airport. On site, private coach for all transfers. For departures from other cities: we coordinate a TGV or air supplement to Paris (at your cost or as a supplement €80-180/student).

Yes, up to 80 %. The 8/12-day structure, transport, accommodation and major visits are fixed. But you can choose: cities (Ifrane, Asilah, Fes, Marrakech, Agadir…), order of activities, languages of instruction (FR/AR), educational options (cooking workshop, calligraphy, crafts, hiking, sciences). The final personalised programme is delivered before signature.

30 % deposit on signature of the agreement (D-90), 70 % balance on return. Invoicing to your establishment: handled by your bursar, Chorus Pro format available. ANCV holiday vouchers, FSL vouchers, departmental vouchers accepted. For private schools under contract: direct invoicing to OGEC or to the parent association (APEL) if delegated.

The Nawrass site director is reachable 24/7 by WhatsApp and direct phone. Emergency number provided to families. Evacuation plan pre-validated with the regional hospital and the French Embassy in Rabat. Our European insurance covers medical repatriation without deductible up to €1,000,000. French crisis cell activatable in under 2 hours.

“The Rectorate dossier passed without a single remark, which almost never happens with a trip abroad. My 28 Year-9 Arabic LV2 students came back transformed: they really spoke Arabic for 8 days, they saw a 14th-century library, they ate with local families. Three families had been worried — they wrote to me on return to thank me. I'm signing for 2027 with two classes.”
